I could probably rig up a simple search algorithm for rsdos actually. There's an awful lot of information lost to newer arrivals because it happened so long ago. Being able to look things up might be awful helpful and cut down on all the posts asking about how to deal with growing claws.

But that'll require Liewen to let us make any changes at all to the dang computers, and you know they're never going to.

Pride, I'd assume. All I know is you dig too deep into the programming or the hardware and you hit on some real nasty failsafes. I've been told if you tinker with one too much it'll explode but I haven't wanted to risk losing my notes and memory log trying to see if it's true.

I don't think he has much say in what the Labs do, on a design level. His connection with them's tenuous at best, or don't you think he'd put his base of operations all in one place? Seems neatest.
