[On Christmas Eve, Fiddleford will find a package! Inside, carefully wrapped in plaid paper: a pair of wool socks, an ugly Christmas tie, and in its own box a very nice wristwatch.

There is a letter on top:

"I know you usually don't have feet and I don't want to imply you have bad time management but this is only my third holiday season that I have a dad to give presents to. I know dads like tools but I wasn't sure what you'd use, so I went with the socks. Maybe you can make them into handwarmers?
