If it helps, I wouldn't have offered it to you if I really didn't want to give it up. I'd rather it be with someone who's not just going to use it to buy some sort of flaming sword or whatever else a gold ring would get you in this place.
Well, I don't know. It's yours now to do whatever you want with. I wouldn't wear it personally if I were you, that's bad luck. But you could use it for decoration in a fish tank, or hang it on a wind chime, or I suppose just put it in a drawer and forget about it. Just find it a new home.
